For the rest of your life, you are going to be responsible for your own actions and for yourself. Get in the habit of being responsible at this age. If you're in school, show up and do your work. It may seem like social life is more important than schoolwork, but real life starts passing you by as soon as you hit your twenties. If you have a job, show up and do your work. Don't call in absent all the time because you don't feel like going. Know that the people you waste time with are unlikely to help you get back on track, and you are not going to have time to help them get on track.
